The key components that I inspect during the structural portion of each home inspection are the foundation, floors, walls, columns, piers, ceilings, roof structure and attic.

Inspector Paul performs a detailed Structural Inspection of every home. 

  • Inspector Paul inspects the structural integrity a homes foundation, floors, walls, columns, piers, ceilings, roof structure and attic.
  • Inspector Paul checks for signs of abnormal or harmful water penetration into the building as well as signs of abnormal or harmful condensation on building components.
  • Inspector Paul reports on the type of foundation: Masonry Block, Brick, Rock, Poured Concrete, etc.
  • Inspector Paul notifies you of the method we use to inspect the crawlspace or basement.
  • Inspector Paul reports on the Floor Structure, Wall Structure, Ceiling Structure, and Roof Structure.
  • Inspector Paul notifies you what the Columns and Piers were made of: wood, concrete, brick, masonry block, steel columns, and/or steel jacks. 
  • Inspector Paul also reports on the roof type.
